Introduction
This stage takes you through a short but wild area of Cumbernauld, consisting mainly of the Wildlife Trust’s nature reserve.

Starting out
For the full length of this stage, access the woods via Chapelton Road, behind the farm. This section is not part of the Woodland Trust so is muddy and unmanaged, however it has a few charming features worth seeing!
